DO's & DON’T BY PREGNANT WOMEN

DO's

  1. Use milk & ghee in the diet
  2. Breakfast before 9 A.M., Lunch 12-1 P.M. & dinner 7-8 P.M.
  3. Eat food only at the time of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  4. Take tea/coffee only 2 times as a day
  5. Go to bed at 10 P.M.
  6. Rise early in the morning
  7. Give attention to foetal movement after 5th month
  8. Do any work in sitting position
  9. Take fruits in the diet
  10. Consume food cooked in home only


Don’t
  1. Don’t eat food in between eating time
  2. Don’t use spicy food in diet
  3. Don’t use fried food in diet
  4. Don’t use oil in excess quantity 
  5. Don’t use bakery products in diet
  6. Don’t use Tea/Coffee in excess quantity
  7. Don’t keep coitus in 1st & 3rd trimester
  8. Don’t stand for longer time
  9. Don’t take sleep at day time
  10. Don’t use frozen items, pickle, sauce & processed food
